WWE Moves Cena–Lesnar to Open Wrestlepalooza as ESPN Era Begins

Overview

• Pat McAfee announced that John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar will kick off Wrestlepalooza, a late change from earlier expectations that it would close the show.
• The Sept. 20 card streams in the U.S. on ESPN Unlimited in the ESPN app, with the live international feed available on Netflix; the main show begins at 7 p.m. ET after a 5 p.m. ET preshow.
• ESPN lists lead‑in coverage including an ESPN2 special on Sept. 19, a Road to Wrestlepalooza block, and postshow programming within the app.
• Access remains a sticking point for some U.S. viewers, as Comcast and YouTube TV customers do not yet have ESPN Unlimited authentication, while Hulu + Live TV, DIRECTV (streaming), Fubo and Spectrum are supported.
