Overview
- Officers responded just before 10:30 p.m. to the 2200 block of NW 56th Avenue and found an adult woman with gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Security footage shows a group arguing in the Sunny Lake apartment parking lot, and a separate video shared with 7News reportedly shows the woman pointing a gun before a man shoots her.
- Neighbors told reporters the disagreement involved residents from two apartments and had festered for much of the day over loud music and parking.
- Detectives from Lauderhill’s Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene units processed the scene as the investigation remains active and preliminary.
