- WhatsApp is rolling out the option to add a Facebook profile link in Android beta version 2.25.29.16 and iOS beta version 25.29.10.70 to a limited set of testers.
- Linking is optional, and users may verify ownership through Meta’s Accounts Center, which adds a small Facebook icon to confirmed links.
- Unverified links display a generic icon and the full URL, with no impact on messaging features regardless of verification status.
- Visibility can be set under Settings > Privacy > Links, with choices such as everyone, contacts, selected people, or private.
- Availability is staggered, so not all testers will see the feature immediately, and WABetaInfo notes limited iOS rollout that could also appear for some App Store users during testing.
