Photos shared on X by @bioreconstruct show barriers outside the Universal Studios Florida exit and alongside the Rip Ride Rockit track suggesting a new guest walkway at CityWalk.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit is set to close permanently on August 18, opening up space for a future attraction or pedestrian route.
Scheduled refurbishments are planned for Skull Island: Reign of Kong (Aug. 20–Sept. 3), Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls (Oct. 6–31) and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (Nov. 10–20), while the Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle remains paused since May.
