Overview

  • The Knights never trailed, led by as many as 36, and closed a three-game surge to move to 20-7 overall and 9-6 in the Big 12.
  • UCF shot 56% from the field and 58% from three (14 of 24), building a 52-28 halftime lead and opening the second half with a 12-0 run.
  • Themus Fulks posted 24 points and 11 assists, Jordan Burks scored 24, and Jamichael Stillwell added a 12-point, 12-rebound double-double.
  • BYU’s AJ Dybantsa had 29 points and eight rebounds and Robert Wright III added 20, but the Cougars fell to 20-8 (8-7) and saw a 16-game home streak vs. unranked foes end.
  • BYU coach Kevin Young called the performance unacceptable, saying UCF "punked us," as the Cougars’ defensive lapses stood out despite UCF missing leading scorer Riley Kugel.
