Although her abandoned car was found at a nearby apartment complex, there has been no other evidence found. Her parents, Drew and Joyce Kesse of Bradenton, spent weeks searching and carrying posters to publicize the case. They made the round of talk shows and agreed to painful interview. Both took long leaves of absence from their jobs. But at the urging of detectives, who suggested that pacing about aimlessly would not help, the couple finally went home to think and worry and wait.
