Teen Wounded in York Shooting as Police Probe Separate Fatal Attack

Overview

• Officers responded around 3:42 p.m. to the 600 block of Vander Avenue and found a 14-year-old boy with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
• The teen was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to a York City Police Department statement.
• Earlier that afternoon, a 31-year-old man was killed in a separate shooting on the 900 block of East King Street.
• Investigators have not determined any connection between the two incidents and have released few additional details.
