Overview
- The new Across carries Toyota’s latest plug-in hybrid setup with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, two electric motors and a 22.7 kWh battery for a combined output around 224 kW and about 100 km WLTP electric range.
- Cabin and safety tech mirror the RAV4 with a 12.9-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, a head-up display and a full ADAS suite including AEB, lane support and a 360-degree camera.
- European customer deliveries are slated to begin by the end of March 2026, with all-wheel drive via Toyota’s E-Four system and a Trail mode included.
- Suzuki Australia says the Across is a Europe-only model and will not be offered locally, and UK publications report it will not be sold in Britain.
- South Africa is set to receive a different Suzuki flagship built in India and sold there as the Victoris rather than the RAV4-based Across.
