Saugmotoren Revives BMW Z4 GT3 for 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours
The entry returns the model to SP9 competition against current GT3 cars.
Overview
- Saugmotoren named Julian ‘Mr Saugmotoren’ Reeh, Ralf Schall, Christian Scherer and Henry Walkenhorst to drive the car.
- The Z4 GT3 will make its first Nürburgring 24H appearance since 2019, when Team Speedline Racing retired early.
- The team steps up after winning the SP7 class in 2025 with a 997-spec Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.
- Race week is scheduled for 14–17 May 2026 at the Nordschleife.
- The model carries proven Nürburgring pedigree, including Marc VDS runner-up finishes in 2013 and 2015 and a Walkenhorst best of sixth in 2015.
