Overview
- Builders renovating a terraced house on Cleveland Road in Lytham discovered bones in the cellar on August 15 and halted work.
- Lancashire Police have confirmed the remains are human and say they may be those of children.
- The remains have been removed from the property as specialists carry out forensic tests to determine age, identity and cause of death.
- Detectives led by DI Andrew Crook are not treating the discovery as suspicious and believe the burial is historic.
