- Larry Gene Howard, 82, died at the hospital on Friday, Oct. 10, according to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
- He was hit around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 6, while using a designated crosswalk on Walton Boulevard near Baldwin Avenue.
- Deputies said a 2012 Chevrolet Colorado driven by a 68-year-old Pontiac man struck him while making a right turn onto westbound Walton Boulevard.
