Overview
- The robbery occurred around 8:25 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Division Blue Line station at 1200 North Milwaukee Avenue in Wicker Park.
- Police say the victim had just exited a train when a man who left the same train approached from behind, hit and pushed him, and forcibly took his wallet.
- Chicago police released surveillance images on Wednesday and asked the public to help identify the man shown.
- The suspect is described as a Black man, 30 to 40 years old, 5 feet 8 to 6 feet tall, 160 to 180 pounds, with a thin mustache, last seen in a black stocking hat, dark jacket, black shirt with a white “X,” ripped blue jeans, and black-and-white gym shoes.
