Overview
- Greater Manchester Police issued images of two men, including one in a blue puffer coat believed to have caught light, after a deliberate arson at a South Terrace home shortly before 2 a.m. on January 18.
- The fire began after a ground-floor window was smashed, with a petrol can found outside; flames damaged the dining room and part of the kitchen and heavy smoke affected the whole house as the occupants escaped unharmed.
- Neighbour and doorbell footage reportedly shows two people fleeing, and investigators believe one suspect may have sustained burn injuries when their coat ignited.
