Overview

- The collision involved a Suzuki Alto and a Vauxhall Meriva near the Derbyshire–Nottinghamshire border.
- A nine-year-old in the Suzuki has serious life-changing injuries and remains in hospital.
- An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is being treated in hospital.
