- Bungie's Marathon server slam runs February 26 at 10 a.m. PT through March 2 at 10 a.m. PT on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC with crossplay and cross-save enabled.
- Participants in the Marathon event can earn cosmetics and gear caches that will transfer to the full game at launch.
- Guerrilla's Horizon Hunters Gathering closed playtest runs February 27–March 1 for selected players via the PlayStation Beta Program on PS5 and PC.
- The Horizon test appears limited to North America and Europe with daily windows of 4:00–7:00 p.m. PT and 7:00–10:00 p.m. CET.
- Horizon’s build includes three hunters (Axle, Rem, Sun), two modes (Machine Incursion, Cauldron Descent), the Colorado Springs map, and the Gathering social hub, with the test under NDA according to Push Square.
