Overview
- The light aircraft came down at about 12:21pm on February 18 within the Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park near Grewelthorpe, Masham.
- The sole occupant, a 22-year-old pilot, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary and died in hospital on Thursday night, police said.
- Family members have been informed and are being supported as a file is prepared for the coroner.
- The AAIB has deployed a multi-disciplinary team to the site as part of a joint inquiry with North Yorkshire Police.
