Overview
- Nissan has confirmed the Gravite compact seven-seater MPV will be unveiled on January 21, with prices due in March ahead of showroom arrivals.
- The Tekton, Nissan’s midsize SUV positioned against segment leaders, will be fully revealed on February 4 and is expected to go on sale around mid-2026.
- Gravite shares its CMF-A/CMF-A+ underpinnings with the Renault Triber and is expected to use the Triber’s 1.0-litre petrol with manual and AMT options, pending final specifications.
- Tekton is Nissan’s interpretation of the next-gen Renault Duster on the CMF-B platform; powertrains are unconfirmed, with reports pointing to a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol, a possible 1.0-litre turbo, and later hybrid or AWD variants.
- Both models will be built at the Renault–Nissan Alliance plant in Chennai for India and select exports, forming part of three new launches by 2027 alongside dealer expansion toward roughly 250 outlets.
