NATO Selects 150 Firms for Largest DIANA Cohort to Date

Phase one begins in January to provide seed funding plus access to more than 200 test centers.

Overview

  • The cohort spans 24 member countries and was chosen from more than 3,600 applicants, more than doubling last year’s intake.
  • Each company receives €100,000 in the opening phase, with up to €300,000 in additional funding available in phase two for shortlisted teams.
  • Participants will use DIANA’s network of 16 accelerator sites and over 200 test centers across the Alliance.
  • Space-focused firms feature in the Resilient Space Operations challenge, including Adaptronics, Alba Orbital, Neuraspace, Spectra Defence, Spaceflux and others.
  • Other selections include SkyFi under Data Assisted Decision Making and FOSSA under Contested Electromagnetic Environments, with FOSSA planning a system to geolocate interference and jamming.
