- Microsoft provided no explanation for the abrupt shutdown and declined to comment further when contacted by media
- Microsoft’s FAQ directs U.S. customers to the Movies Anywhere cloud service or third-party platforms such as Prime Video, Fandango at Home and Apple TV for future video purchases
