- Microsoft Authenticator has begun issuing fullscreen notifications warning users of its forthcoming autofill removal
- Beginning June 2025, the app will no longer allow users to save new passwords
- Autofill support will be disabled throughout July 2025
- Stored passwords will become inaccessible within the app starting August 2025
- Users can export saved credentials to a CSV file or rely on Edge’s synced passwords through their Microsoft Account for continued autofill functionality
