- Leonard "Frank" Ragan, 73, a former McKinney city manager, and his wife, Jackie Ragan, 72, were found dead in their Dunster Drive home on Dec. 28.
- During the search, officers encountered the couple’s 34-year-old son, Bryce Ragan, armed with a long gun and shot him after he ignored commands to drop it.
