Massachusetts Woman Arrested, Extradited in Pelham Road-Rage Case

  • Lauren Sills, 38, was taken into custody in Lowell on Thursday as a fugitive from justice and extradited to New Hampshire.
  • She was booked on charges including attempted first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, simple assault and criminal mischief.
  • The incident began on Dracut streets and continued at Ace Discount Cigarettes on Bridge Street in Pelham on Jan. 8 around 11:20 a.m.
  • Surveillance video released by police shows the victim fleeing as Sills approaches and later jabs at the rear driver-side tire, though a knife is not clearly visible in the footage.
  • Police said the victim was not injured, the suspect fled southbound on Bridge Street, and Sills is being held on preventative detention at Hillsborough County Jail pending arraignment Friday in Salem District Court.
