Overview
- Kevin Donohue, a Malvern Preparatory School sophomore in the class of 2027, died after a deer struck by another vehicle smashed through the windshield of the car he was riding in.
- Police say the crash happened around 7–7:15 a.m. on Sept. 2 on Route 322 (Downingtown Pike) near Romig Road in West Bradford Township.
- Investigators believe the first vehicle that hit the deer is a black Toyota Sienna that left the scene, and they are asking anyone with information to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Embreeville barracks.
- A state police spokesperson said the primary factor was environmental, the incident is not currently being treated as a hit-and-run, and there are no pending charges at this time.
