HWMonitor Update Confirms Intel Panther Lake Lineup as Early Benchmarks Point to Strong iGPU Gains

Release notes list 12 mobile SKUs across X, H, and U tiers, providing early proof of Intel’s 18A-based lineup.

Overview

  • HWMonitor v1.60 adds support for Intel Panther Lake and names 12 Core Ultra SKUs across X, H, and U families, including the flagship Core Ultra X9 388H.
  • Preliminary 3DMark Time Spy results shared via LaptopReview show the X9 388H iGPU scoring about 6,300, roughly a 45–50% uplift over Lunar Lake’s Arc 140V, with results subject to driver maturation.
  • The X series lists four SKUs with three parts using 12 Xe3 cores and the X5 338H using 10, while H variants carry similar CPU core layouts but just four Xe3 cores.
  • PTL-U entries include Core Ultra 7 360U, 5 350U, 5 340U, and 3 320U, which drop traditional E-cores in favor of performance and LP‑E cores for lower-power designs.
  • Panther Lake is Intel’s first consumer product on the 18A node with Cougar Cove P-cores, Darkmont E-cores, and Xe3 graphics up to 12 cores, with broader availability guided for early 2026 after initial units late 2025.
