Overview
- The incident occurred around 9:08 a.m. in the 600 block of Deep Valley Drive after a response to reports of multiple speeding vehicles.
- A Lomita Station deputy heard a pop while driving away and found a single bullet hole on the passenger-side trunk hatch with no exit hole.
- No injuries were reported, and no suspect has been located.
- LASD, Palos Verdes Estates and Torrance police, and the LASD Aero Bureau established a containment zone centered on Silver Spur Road between Crenshaw and Hawthorne boulevards.
