Gonzaga Documentary ‘The Slipper Still Fits’ Sets March 6 Tubi Premiere

The 74-minute film from director David Check spotlights Mark Few’s program-building with exclusive 2023–24 access.

Tubi is releasing the feature as a Tubi Original through its partnership with Teton Ridge Entertainment, with Words + Pictures involved.
Director David Check leads the project, produced by Thomas Tull with executive producers Jillian Share, Josh Miller, Connor Schell, Jonathan Hock, Libby Geist, Alexa Conway and Angela T. O’Neal.
Interviews include Mark Few, Steve Kerr and former Gonzaga stars now in the NBA such as Chet Holmgren, Andrew Nembhard, Jalen Suggs, Domantas Sabonis and Drew Timme, plus Adam Morrison, John Stockton and Nigel Williams-Goss.
The documentary charts the program’s rise from the 1999 call of “The slipper still fits” through national runner-up finishes in 2017 and 2021.
A Check-led crew captured exclusive behind-the-scenes footage throughout the 2023–24 season at home and on the road.
