Gmail Raises Attachment Limits for Workspace Enterprise Plus

The change rolls out over roughly two weeks to eligible enterprise tenants.

Enterprise Plus users can now send attachments up to 50MB, doubling the previous 25MB cap.
Those accounts can receive emails with attachments up to 70MB.
The rollout began on February 23, 2026, with full availability expected within about 15 days.
IT administrators can control access to the larger attachment limits for their organizations.
All other Gmail and Workspace tiers remain at 25MB sending and 50MB receiving, with Google still steering larger files to Drive links.
