  • Preorders are live for the updated Laptop 16, with first batches scheduled to ship in November according to the company.
  • Pricing starts at $1,499 for the new Laptop 16; the RTX 5070 graphics module is $699, RTX 5070–equipped laptops start at $2,199, and the previous-gen model drops to $1,299.
  • The RTX 5070 module is backward compatible with existing Laptop 16 units and can be installed in minutes, with Framework claiming a 30–40% performance uplift over the prior RX 7700S.
