Overview

- Police treated five shootings over roughly 20 hours across the city’s north, west, east and south sides as unconnected incidents that left five people dead.
- Marquavius Hunt, 17, was booked on suspicion of capital murder in the Asheville Lane double homicide where two victims were fatally shot.
- Jonathan Martinez, 24, has been charged with murder after a man was found shot to death in the 3000 block of Conejos Drive.
- Fort Worth detectives continue to hunt for additional suspects and are urging anyone with information to contact the homicide unit.
