Overview
- The voluntary recall covers 55,689 pounds of individually quick-frozen blueberries produced under the Willamette Valley Fruit Company name.
- Affected product was shipped in 30-pound cases and 1,400-pound totes with lot codes 2055 B2, 2065 B1, 2065 B3, 3305 A1 and 3305 B1 and best-by dates in July and November 2027.
- Distribution occurred through commercial supply chains, not retail stores, reaching customers in Michigan, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin and Canada.
- OPC initiated the recall on Feb. 12 and the FDA upgraded it to a Class I on Feb. 24; the recall remains ongoing and consignees were notified by email.
