Overview
- The collision occurred around 7:15 a.m. in the 3000 block of Pontiac Trail in Commerce Township.
- A semi-truck was exiting the Walmart parking lot when a westbound Chevrolet Malibu hit the rear of its trailer.
- Commerce Township firefighters extricated the pinned driver, who was taken to Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital.
- Deputies said the older driver's injuries are believed to be minor and the truck driver was not hurt.
