Disneyland to Restore All-Day Park Hopping This Year, Ending 11 A.M. Limit

Reservations will remain in place as the resort maintains capacity controls.

Overview

  • Disneyland officials said the change will take effect later in 2026, with a formal start date still to be announced.
  • Guests with Park Hopper tickets and Magic Key passholders will be able to switch parks at any time after scanning into their reserved starting park.
  • Park hopping will continue to depend on availability, capacity limits, operating hours, and closures, and a second-park reservation is not currently required.
  • The shift was outlined in a business update led by Disneyland Resort President Thomas Mazloum as part of efforts to simplify the guest experience.
  • In the same briefing, Disney confirmed Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! will stay open through 2027, and the policy mirrors Walt Disney World's 2024 move to all-day hopping.
