Overview
- Police say a man attempted to sexually assault a woman outside her workplace in Rogers Park on Feb. 6 at about 3:54 p.m.
- The suspect allegedly grabbed her from behind, threw her to the ground and pinned her before two passersby confronted him, and investigators have released a photo.
- In a separate incident on Feb. 9, a 27-year-old woman was sexually abused around 9:16 a.m. in the 4000 block of West Roosevelt Road in North Lawndale.
- The North Lawndale suspect is described as a Black man, 35 to 40 years old, about 5 feet to 5-foot-3 with a slender build and short, curly black hair, last seen in a brown sweater, oversized brown jacket and baggy blue pants.
