CBS Studios Renews Overall Deal With Robert and Michelle King

The pact positions the pair to steer CBS’ 2026–27 pickup Cupertino.

Under the renewed agreement, the Kings will continue creating, writing and producing through King Size Productions, and Robert King’s directing duties are included.
CBS has ordered Cupertino for the 2026–27 season, a Silicon Valley–set legal drama starring Mike Colter, with the Kings as co-showrunners and Robert King directing the premiere.
The Kings are developing Vatican City at Hulu, which would mark CBS Studios’ first partnership with the Disney-owned platform if the project is greenlit.
CBS Studios did not disclose the length or financial terms of the new deal.
Robert and Michelle King have been at CBS Studios since 2009, delivering series such as The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Elsbeth, Evil and Your Honor, with Liz Glotzer serving as executive producer on their projects.
