Billy Strings Launches Ionia Freak Fair With Hometown Festival Set for Aug. 28–29

Early access is restricted to residents within 20 miles until tonight, with public tickets available at noon Feb. 13.

Strings and his band will headline both nights at the Ionia County Fairgrounds, with Grand Rapids musician Mark Lavengood serving as host.
The lineup features Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, Sierra Hull, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper, Lindsay Lou, Full Cord, and more.
A locals-only presale runs through 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 12 for buyers whose credit card billing address falls within 20 miles of the venue, followed by a general on-sale at noon Feb. 13.
Locals presale pricing lists single-day tickets at $39.50 for general admission and $74.50 for pit, with two-day passes at $79 for GA and $149 for pit.
Festival hours are 3–11 p.m. both days, there is no on-site tent or car camping, limited RV sites are available, and nearby campgrounds are listed on the event website.
