- Massachusetts officials identified the couple killed in Swansea as Carolyn Carcasi, 54, and James Carcasi, 53, of Bristol, R.I.
- Demitri Sousa, 28, was arraigned at Rhode Island Hospital on murder and firearms charges in the killing of Javon Lawson, 35, and was ordered held without bail with no plea entered under Rhode Island felony procedure.
- Cranston police say Sousa pounded on Lawson’s door and fired from outside; neighbor video showed a masked man fleeing to a white Infiniti.
