Apple Details U.S. F1 Rollout With Netflix Simulcast and New Multiview 4K Experience

The 2026 plan integrates live racing and F1 TV Premium across Apple’s apps while partnering with Netflix, Tubi and IMAX to widen access for U.S. fans.

Overview

  • Apple TV becomes the exclusive U.S. home of F1 in 2026 with every practice, qualifying, sprint and race included for subscribers, as the season opens next week in Australia.
  • Apple and Netflix struck a content deal: Drive to Survive season 8 debuts on Apple TV alongside Netflix, and May’s Canadian Grand Prix will stream on both platforms in the U.S.
  • Apple says select races and practice sessions will be free on Apple TV this season, Tubi will host free altcasts for select events, and some races will screen in select IMAX theaters, with specific lineups still to be announced.
  • Live coverage will stream in 4K Dolby Vision with 5.1 audio, extensive Multiview (up to four feeds on Apple TV/iPad, five on Vision Pro) and dozens of extra feeds including driver onboard cameras and data, plus access to the Sky Sports feed; F1 TV Premium features are included for Apple TV subscribers.
  • F1 content is woven across Apple services, with Apple Maps launching detailed circuit maps starting with Melbourne and additional integrations in Apple News, Apple Music radio commentary, Apple Sports live updates and dedicated hubs in Music and Podcasts.
