AFI Names 17-Member Team for Asian Indoor Championships, Led by Tajinderpal Toor

- The 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships will be held in Tianjin from February 6 to 8, with the Indian contingent set to depart on February 3.
- The lineup covers sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws and combined events, featuring Shahnawaz Khan, Praveen Chithravel, Tejaswin Shankar and Manikanta Hoblidhar.
- Women's entries include Nithya Gandhe and Abhinaya Rajarajan in the 60m, Moumita Mondal in hurdles and long jump, Pooja in high jump, Yogita in shot put and KA Anamika in pentathlon.
- Two-time Asian Indoor champion Tajinderpal Singh Toor won with 19.72m in Tehran in 2024 and holds the national outdoor record of 21.77m set in 2023.
