- Odisha Police said the group included a divisional committee member, six area committee members and 10 women, with DGP Y B Khurania present at the event.
- They turned in nine firearms along with 150 cartridges, 20 kg of explosives, 13 improvised explosive devices, magazines and other materials.
- Nineteen of the 22 belonged to the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee, two to the Andhra–Odisha Border unit and one to the Gadchiroli Area Committee, mostly from Chhattisgarh.
